Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you’re not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

Canvas is the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s digital learning platform. ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Canvas courses teach you everything you need to know about studying with the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ. By the end of this course, you will be able to use Canvas to:
• contact your tutor and classmates
• download and upload files
• complete quizzes
• take part in discussions
• access additional support
This digital skills course prepares you to study online with the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ. Canvas is used for both online and face-to-face courses.
If you want to learn digital skills not covered by this course, you may consider a general digital skills course that covers the use of a variety of apps and devices.
If you’re not sure which courses suit your needs, feel free to discuss your options with your ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ tutor who will be happy to advise you.
Please note that you’ll need access to the internet to take this online Canvas course. You’ll also need access to a digital device such as a laptop, phone, or tablet.
