Participants will read and analyze classic and contemporary works of maritime literature, and use these texts as a springboard for their own creative writing. The course includes writing exercises, peer feedback, and discussions that encourage participants to experiment with different narrative techniques and styles. By the end of the course, participants will have produced a collection of sea-inspired writing and gained a deeper appreciation for the literary potential of the ocean.
