Sewing has become a popular craft enabling you to produce meaningful projects in a therapeutic way.

This Intermediate: Textiles and Fashion Dressmaking course is aimed at improvers, so don’t worry if you are not at an advanced level.

This course is based on face-to-face teaching in a built for purpose environment.

Ìý

On this course,

you will learn about:

taking measurements,

managing commercial patterns,

preparing fabric for cutting,

using a sewing machine, stitching fabric,

making seams, necks, inserting zips, making buttonholes.

Learn to use an overlocker to create a professional finish.

Widen your knowledge of fabrics.

Make at least one garment and produce samples, recordings and photos for your folder (online and on paper) every week.
