Course overview
Course description
On this creative course, we will look at a variety of crafting materials and discuss what items and materials are suitable for decoupage and where you might get them from.
Even if you have never done any crafting before, and don鈥檛 consider yourself to be 鈥榗rafty鈥 this course is a great first step. With minimal supplies and expert guidance from our enthusiastic tutor you can create simple gifts and home d茅cor items.
During this course we will look at:
飦 Which glue is best?
飦 What items you can decoupage on.
飦 Which papers to use.
飦 Base layers and top coats.
During each session you will have the opportunity to see and comment on your classmates work and receive feedback on your own creations, from both tutor and fellow learners. This sharing of our work and ideas can be incredibly inspiring and in-still confidence in your own work and your creative ability.
After this course, and if you have been bitten by the crafting bug, there are lots of courses you can try your hand at next. If you fancy trying card making you could enrol on our Easter Cards and Gifts course or you might prefer to have a go at making a mini-album or some storage wallets to help organise your growing craft supplies. Wherever your interest lies we would love to see you on one of our future creative courses.
